Hand-woven jute rug from India. The weave is firm, durable, tight, and scratch-free. The rug is approximately 10 mm thick.

Jute is known as the "golden fiber" because of its color. It is an environmentally friendly fiber because it requires virtually no pesticides or fertilizers and is 100% biodegradable and recyclable. One hectare of jute consumes 15 tons of carbon dioxide and generates 11 tons of oxygen.
