Behind Abe the Ape is Abraham Menéndez (Gijón, 1977). A graduate in Advertising and Public Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid and a diploma in Fashion Design from the IED, the illustrator created his own brand of decorated plates.

Through her designs, she expresses her unique style, with vintage touches, a great sense of humor, and cinema as a source of inspiration.

She has also collaborated with brands such as Steve Mono, Chanel, Aristocrazy, L'oreal, Perrier, Miele, A.lange & Söhne, Heineken, Coordonné and La Casita de Wendy, among others.
